Wajeeha likes to think of her job as telling stories with a splash of structure. Other people like to wonder what exactly her job is: she’s there when you’re hired at Sukali, she’s there when you need something planned and she’s there when you need someone to write a truly scathing email. Still trying to reconcile her journalism career with marketing somehow, she's written for National Geographic and Al Jazeera. She’s also written conversion-ensuring shampoo ads and created strategies for fertility clinics, so do with that what you will. As one of her professors at Northwestern University used to tell her: you have to know the rules to break them.
She likes oranges in the winter sun, anything that's Northwestern Purple, the Microsoft Excel Twitter account and dreaming of her retirement to Edinburgh.
